Pic6 l. Paul Soito, r. Mike Coustier |
l. Paul Soito, former VP r. Mike Coustier former President of EBMES. Paul worked in HO narrow gauge and was Mike's sometime helper. Original plan was for 2 separate narrow gauge railroads, On30 and On?. Mike C. was determined to build a model of he Onion Peel portion of West side Lumber railroad, but because of work with Boy Scouts and Civil War battle recreations did not make much progress. The O std. group finally took the area for the passenger terminal and integrated narrow gauge area as it is now (info from Mike Leahy, 8-29-12) This is where narrow gauge now sits in O scale. Note the edge of what is now the passenger station benchwork to the left. (info John Morrison, 31 Aug 12)
